A (plurality or majority) bonus system is a semi-proportional type of mixed system which combines a winner-take-all multi-member system with a proportional system, usually via fusion, but sometimes in a supermixed combination.

The size of the bonus can may be conditional on the number of votes for each party. In unconditional systems, the majority bonus is allocated in a non-compensatory way, unlike in a jackpot system.
