I introduced MRAV mainly as an exercise to show that it is possible to have a DMC-like method that is also symmetric with respect to ballot ranking reversal. It is equivalent to Approval Sorted Margins but requires less complicated sorting techniques. --Araucaria 12:50, 4 January 2007 (PST)
