Very belated welcome!
Hello User:MellowMoon! A very belated welcome to you! When you first started editing this wiki in 2021, I neglected to welcome you. Now I have.
A couple of nitpicks:
- . In your comment while making one of your 2021 changes, you said you were editing the "#Single member systems" section of the "Table of voting method criteria" aritcle. That's okay; just note that once you hit submit, the "Summary:" of your change goes down the permanent record, and there's little that most folks can do to fix it. Thankfully, the wiki pages themselves are easy to change, and in fact, User:Casimir and User:Kristomun just updated the table.
- . I see that you added "Total Score chain climbing" to the "Total approval chain climbing" article. I suspect that I wasn't sure just how to respond back then, because I wasn't eager to see yet another election method getting documented and bestowed yet another acronym. It seems that people add new methods to electowiki without adding links to references or even online discussions about the method, which bothers me at times.
Regardless, it doesn't seem like you are part of an army of self-taught voting theorists who plans to overwhelm the editing community on this wiki with new names (and new articles) for old methods, so I appreciate that. Thus the points above are nitpicks in the grand scheme of things.
If you haven't read it already (and plan to make more changes to this wiki), please standard welcome letter that I ask all new editors to read (the letter: User:RobLa/Welcome). Now I make may make some changes to the "Total approval chain climbing" article now, in hopes that someone fixes the changes that I make (per Cunningham's law). Regardless, welcome! -- RobLa (talk) 03:12, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
