Talk:Preferential voting

Ordinal voting is the proper term. We should use this at the page title --Dr. Edmonds (talk) 17:15, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

If so, preferential voting ought to be a redirect page towards this page. I'd probably also suggest using "rated voting" as a redirect to "cardinal voting". BetterVotingAdvocacy (talk) 17:45, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

"Preferential voting" is far more common and I'm not sure why it would be any less "proper", so I think it should stay as is. It's essentially a disambig page right now anyway, and maybe should be more concise like Wikipedia's disambig page. — Psephomancy (talk) 19:53, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
