Completion method: Difference between revisions

(Coming up with my own definition of "completion method", since no one bothered to define it before now. It may not be correct, but ...well, y'all should fix it if I'm wrong. Now to define what "aggregate method" means....)

Line 1:
A completion method is a method at the end of a chain of election methods. For example, in the "Smith//Score" style of aggregate methods, the "Smith set" is calculated first, and then if there is more than one member of that set, the desired number of winners (usually a single winner) is chosen (with the same ballots) using score voting. Hence score voting is the "completion method" (as the second method) in the "Smith//Score" aggregate method.
