Electowiki talk:Bureaucrats: Difference between revisions

(As of today, users are required to add a valid email address to edit electowiki. I changed the "$wgEmailConfirmToEdit" setting to "true". That setting effectively prohibits "anonymous" editing (from what I'm told). Please leave a message here or on User_talk:RobLa if you object to this change.)

We don't (yet) have an official noticeboard for electowiki bureaucrats. I think we should, so that User:Jameson Quinn, User:Psephomancy and User:RobLa (i.e. me) don't make changes to the access settings that surprise any of the other bureaucrats.

:RobLa As an ElectoWiki community member, a bureaucrats' noticeboard would be helpful, I think. It would also be a good, centralized place for Stewards and Global Sysops to notify of any global actions they've had to take in lieu of local administration (i.e., counter-vandalism). Not that ElectoWiki has many problems with vandalism requiring immediate attention, but it's prudent to plan for the future. If I may make one suggestion, though, I'd recommend the noticeboard location be Electowiki:Bureaucrats' noticeboard, with Electowiki:Bureaucrats the policy page for bureaucrats. You could also have an Electowiki:Administrators' noticeboard, too. Dmehus (talk) 23:50, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
