As ofIn 2020-07-10, we're experimentingexperimented with "StructuredDiscusssions" (also known as "Flow"). This is a feature that [[Wikimedia Foundation]] iswas developing for [[English Wikipedia]]. SeeIt's [[Project:StructuredDiscussions]]not forentirely clear how the Wikimedia Foundation plans to make Talk page more. usable, but as of this writing (20:14, 25 October 2023 (UTC)), we're going to be using old--school {{unsigned|RobLa}}policy and conventions here on electowiki.

== Signing comments ==
:whoops, I forgot to sign my comment on July 10. As a reminder: it's only 4 tildes ("<code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>) to put both your user id and the date (in [[UTC]]). Like this -> [[User:RobLa|RobLa]] ([[User talk:RobLa|talk]]) 03:47, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
The several tilde signs ("<code><nowiki>~</nowiki></code>) in a row have special meaning on all wiki pages, and are especially useful on Talk pages:

* 3 tildes ("<code><nowiki>~~~</nowiki></code>") is replaced with your user id (e.g. "[[User:RobLa|RobLa]] ([[User talk:RobLa|talk]])")
:whoops, I forgot to sign my comment on July 10. As a reminder: it's only* 4 tildes ("<code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>") to put both your user id and the date (and time in [[UTC]]) (e.g. Like this -> "[[User:RobLa|RobLa]] ([[User talk:RobLa|talk]]) 0320:4714, 1525 JulyOctober 20202023 (UTC)")
* 5 tildes ("<code><nowiki>~~~~~</nowiki></code>") to put ''just'' the date and time in UTC (e.g. "20:14, 25 October 2023 (UTC)")

Please get into the habit of signing any comment you make on Talk pages with four tildes ("<code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>").
