These voting methods involve runoffs to determine the winner. All such methods pass the Condorcet loser criterion, because a Condorcet loser will lose a runoff to any other candidate. Some of these methods do "automatic" or "instant" runoffs which are determined based off of the ballot information, rather than having voters vote in a separate election. They generally do this using pairwise counting.
