It seems that Arrow's theorem is quite messed up here. That theorem is about deterministic algorithms which produce a ranking instead of a winner.

I kinda think we should use [[Electoral system]] as the name of this article, to match [[wikipedia:Electoral system]]. I realize that renaming categories is a HUGE pain in the butt, so I would respect pushback, but given that I've been calling these things [[election method]]s for years, I'd rather align with Wikipedia's phrasing rather than trying to get Wikipedia to call them "Voting systems". -- [[User:RobLa|RobLa]] ([[User talk:RobLa|talk]]) 23:23, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
