It seems that Arrow's theorem is quite messed up here. That theorem is about deterministic algorithms which produce a ranking instead of a winner. -- (unsigned comment, 2005)
Hierarchy
I was kind of hoping we could use the Categories functionality to automatically handle listing the hierarchy of systems, but I'm not sure if that can do everything we want. — Psephomancy (talk) 01:25, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
Naming
I kinda think we should use Electoral system as the name of this article, to match wikipedia:Electoral system. I realize that renaming categories is a HUGE pain in the butt, so I would respect pushback, but given that I've been calling these things election methods for years, I'd rather align with Wikipedia's phrasing rather than trying to get Wikipedia to call them "Voting systems". -- RobLa (talk) 23:23, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
