oops! Criterion 1 looked out of place to me. A long sentence whereas the others were a couple of words. Then I looked at what you had done. You (Dan K) have created pages with the word Criterion as part of the page name! I think that that is a logical and/or structural mistake, IMHO. I'm too tired to explain better now, it has just struck me as I was about to call it a night. Wegerje 21:07, 16 Mar 2005 (PST)

Actually, I imported pages from Wikipedia with page names like Favorite Betrayal criterion, monotonicity criterion, etc. I created headers with the word "Criterion" in them on this page. Is that what you meant? By the way, I think we should define a CSS class for election model notation in Mediawiki:monobook.css, then use it consistently. What do you think? I'm all for style. I wanted a real typeface for the critera list rather than the typewriter font that it was coming out as. So just point me to the style book and I'll follow.
As for criterion/criteria. Critics who judge things use criteria to make those judgements. Critera then are attributes of things and not really things in and of themselves. Our presentation of things like Monotonicity and Condorcet will include critera, but those critera should not attach themselves to the things they are being used to judge as if they were the thing itself. IMHO. I suspect that the usage in Wikipedia is mostly wrong. Wegerje 04:46, 17 Mar 2005 (PST)
