User:Dr. Edmonds, not sure about him being "the first". Weber and Merrill were doing these computer simulations in the 70s and 80s, while Smith got into them in the 90s? Social Utility Efficiency (VSE) is from 1984. — Psephomancy (talk) 22:17, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

Update as you will. I am putting in a lot of content and it will be shifted around a fair bit. I do not know much about VSE so you are likely correct.
