2024 San Francisco mayoral election
The 2024 San Francisco mayoral election will be happening on November 5, 2024, using instant-runoff voting (known in San Francisco as "ranked-choice voting").[1] These are the candidates that have qualified for the ballot, in alphabetical order by last name:
- London Breed (incumbant)
- Mark Farrell
- Henry Flynn
- Keith Freedman
- Dylan Hirsch-Shell
- Daniel Lurie
- Nelson Mei
- Aaron Peskin
- Paul Ybarra Robertson
- Ahsha Safaí
- Shahram Shariati
- Jon Soderstrom
- Ellen Lee Zhou
As of June 2024, at least one major media outlet believes there are only five candidates, because only five were allowed to appear at the first DCCC debate.[2] However, as of June 2023, there appear to be 13 candidates who have qualified.[3]
