These voting methods pass PSC (Proportionality for Solid Coalitions), meaning that they will always allow a sufficiently-sized group of voters to get proportional amounts of representation. Many of these methods either pass or can be tweaked to pass the Droop proportionality criterion, which guarantees a majority at least half of the seats.
