Talk:PLACE FAQ

From electowiki

Neutrality[edit | edit source]

User:Dr. Edmonds, this is a POV article, written by Quinn. I think these are welcome on Electowiki, though maybe with a warning template or a special namespace. See the discussion on The Caucus. — Psephomancy (talk) 17:46, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

Can you create such a tag? I think it is important to make that clear if people come here to learn. --Dr. Edmonds (talk) 18:52, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
Yes but we have to decide what form it will take and what it will say. — Psephomancy (talk) 19:03, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

Advocacy article[edit | edit source]

Since User:Homunq doesn't seem to be active on this wiki, is there going to be a user who claims ownership of this article? It seems like we should either move this article into user space, improve the article, or delete it. We probably need to finish off that banner we talked about over at Electowiki:Advocacy (and the Electowiki:EPOV board probably needs to have its first meeting before we can really make progress on the banner). -- RobLa (talk) 02:39, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

Split Request[edit | edit source]

This beast is excessive and terribly non-Wiki-ish. I think a much shorter, much neutraler article about PLACE voting needs to be extracted from this FAQ and replace the redirect page at PLACE voting . - Frankie1969 (talk) 01:18, 15 October 2021 (UTC)

For clarity: I intend to do this in a few weeks if there is no objection, or a few days if there is substantial support. - Frankie1969 (talk) 01:21, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
I fully support cleaning up this page --Dr. Edmonds (talk) 19:51, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
I do, too. Kristomun (talk) 17:11, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
