Welcome to Electowiki! The community portal is meant for editors and participants of the site (as opposed to readers) to help show you around the parts of the community you might like to read if you are going to participate.

There are a few noticeboards for important electowiki activity:

Project_talk:The caucus is where we gather for discussion about the site itself.
Project_talk:Policy is where we disuss the rules we have put together for things like a Code of Conduct and other issues that may require administrator intervention. If you edit this wiki, please read the Code of Conduct page.
#Admininstrator noticeboard is a place of last resort to put notices. It's to get the attention of the administrators of electowiki.

For discussion about individual article topics or categories, please use the corresponding Talk page. Discussion about the First Past the Post electoral system, for instance, should take place on Talk:First Past the Post electoral system.

People who are looking for things to help the electowiki community are encouraged to look at the Electowiki:To do list.

When responding to someone, please type [[User:Their name]], they will be notified that you mentioned them. You can also notify them by mentioning them in the edit summary, such as Respond to [[User:Their name]]

Steward notification regarding recent CVT actions taken

Dear Electowiki Bureaucrats,

I just wanted to advise you of some interim vandalism prevention actions I've taken as a Steward as part of recent vandalism by a crosswiki vandalism only account, Chairman. The vandalism only account's modus operandi seems to be vandalize high traffic pages on Miraheze wikis, namely by vandalizing the Main Page directly or by uploading new versions of unprotected images shown on said Main Page. I've reverted and deleted, as appropriate, the vandalism; however, I have also increased your Main Page protection level to autoconfirmed and upload protected two images at sysop shown on said Main Page. In addition, the user's account(s) have been globally locked on the Miraheze farm.

As Electowiki:Bureaucrats' noticeboard hadn't yet been created, I'm providing this notice here. Please feel free to change the temporary measures put in place by Stewards.

Thanks for being on top of this and fixing things up, meta:User:Dmehus, and thanks User:Kristomun and User:Dr. Edmonds for raising the alarm. The elevated permission levels that meta:User:Dmehus put in place for the Main Page and the logos (File:Electowiki.svg and File:Electowiki-rectangle.svg) seem appropriate to me and probably good long-term solutions. -- RobLa (talk) 04:25, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

2020 and earlier

We didn't have a noticeboard last year. The Electowiki:Administrators and Electowiki:Bureaucrats would mainly just keep an eye on the Special:Recent changes page and react to weird changes that happened there. -- RobLa (talk) 08:35, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
