Welcome to electowiki, User:V.jackson! Thanks for your additions to the "approval voting" article. You'll notice that MediaWiki (the content-management software we use) automatically assumes that the first letter of a link (like to "approval voting" should be capitalized, and capitalizes it for you. The addition of the Saari paper to that page is helpful; as I recall, Donald Saari was a very early participant on the election-methods mailing list that I started many years ago (and I disagreed with him back then much more than I disagree with him now, I suspect). Also, thank you for filling in your user page already! I still find myself needing to bother folks to put something on that page, so I'm grateful that you have done it already. If you haven't read it already, please read my generic welcome letter to all new editors on electowiki. There's a lot of stuff about "NPOV" (which we only sorta try to stick with) and "EPOV" (which ... is kinda arbitrary at this point, but "NPOV" works fine in most cases). Thanks for the kind welcome RobLa! I happy to have contributed something. I recently fell down the voting theory rabbit hole, mostly as a fun distraction from my actual PhD work. I was surprised to learn about Saari's issue with approval voting, given that I had mostly heard about how wonderful it is. I hope my addition has contributed to a more comprehensive presentation of approval voting.
