These are rated methods i.e. they use score information from ballots where you rate candidates on a scale, for example, from 0 to 10. Many rated methods can be interpreted in a ranked method context by using the KP transform, and then converting the resulting fractional Approval ballots into ranked ballots. For example, Score voting can be thought of as a Smith-efficient Condorcet method in this manner.
