Welcome

A belated welcome to you, User:Philpope. I see that you edited Expanding Approvals Rule back in May, and then left a comment suggesting another change to the article. I'm not familiar enough with multi-member Bucklin nor Expanding Approvals Rule to make the change, so I recommend being bold and making the change. More generally, please read User:RobLa/Welcome, which is my letter to all new users, and welcome to electowiki! -- RobLa (talk) 05:52, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Introductions

Hi. I'm based in the UK and active int the Electoral Reform Society, Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform and Make Votes Matter. haven't done a lot of wiki editing before. Will try to do so in line with your guidelines.Philpope (talk) 10:53, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

Hi @Philpope: pleased to meet you! This is actually your "User talk" page, which is different from your user page (which is located at "User:Philpope"). It would be a wiki-culture faux pas for me to edit your user page (even though I can), so I would prefer if you do it. You have a lot of latitude to put self-aggrandizing statements on your user page (since it's "yours"), and put links to websites that flatter you somehow. I'd appreciate it if you created a new page over there. Since there a hundreds (er....thousands?) of wikis here on Miraheze's infrastruture (where electowiki is hosted), you could also create a global user page for all Miraheze wikis. Either way, this is documented over on the "Help:User page" page here on electowiki. Thanks in advance! -- RobLa (talk) 09:58, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
